Elected in 2019, Helen Crane has been an active member of the community serving residents, resolving issues both small and complex. Attending Parish Council meetings, bringing information to residents & liaising with Breckland Council on your behalf. Whatever it is, if it matters to you it matters to me! Caring about the people and communities she represents, securing grants for Bradenham, Saham Toney , Carbrooke, and the Wayland Partnership. A Wayland Academy Governor, Vice-Chair of Carbrooke Community Hub, representative at Wayland Partnership and mental Health first aider places her at the centre of the community. “Living in Breckland all my life, the district and people are important to me, I am an active voice on behalf of the residents and it would be a privilege to continue".
David Sawyer was born in Norfolk, but grew up in the Lake District returning to teach at Thetford Grammar School and appointed latterly as deputy headmaster. Having served on Breckland Council for 3 terms, David is well placed to help resolve problems that residents may have. Having served on most committees he is well placed to offer the help that residents need. David has been a school governor in many schools in the district, most recently as chair of Great Hockham Junior School. David is a keen member of Saham Toney Bridge club, playing in the Wells Cole Community Centre every Thursday.
