District Councillors

Breckland District Council is made up of 27 wards, of which 12 wards are within the Mid Norfolk Boundary. Of the 49 seats on Breckland District Council, the Conservatives currently hold the largest amount at 31 seats, followed by Labour at 12, Independents with 5 and the Green Party with 1 seat.

Breckland Council is responsible for delivering a wide range of services. Norfolk County Council is responsible for delivering strategic and, generally speaking, more costly services. You can find out more about how the two Council's operate by clicking here.
