I thought you might appreciate sight of my piece on ConHome making the case for urgent and bold reform of the Conservative Party in light of the recent electoral annihilation and recent events leading up to it.

As I set out at the recent AGM - by winning in Mid Norfolk - without a penny or any serious help from CCHQ (in fact they were asking for money!) and some very poor decision making, I believe that we have more than earnt the right to speak out about the urgency of party reform.
Of course, the choice of leader is important - but without a platform for serious Reform - of CCHQ / Membership benefits / internal democracy / candidate selection/ finances / culture & values - I don’t believe a new Leader will be able to enact the new Leadership we urgently need.
