William Richmond continues to work tirelessly for residents in Dereham and Scarning since being elected to Norfolk County Council in 2013.
He understands the issues that affect the local area. He has campaigned to enhance public open spaces within the Dereham area and
helped to achieve County Wildlife Site status for the Neatherd Moor and Etling Green.
He has secured funding from the NCC Parish Partnership Scheme for local highway related improvements – including new traffic calming measures, bus shelters,
footways and signs.
William lives on the family farm at East Bilney. Born and raised in Norfolk, he was educated locally at Neatherd High School and Dereham Sixth Form College before
reading History at Newcastle University.
He has supported many businesses and charities in the Dereham area, including the Royal British Legion and Dereham Community Litter Pickers.
